Sana

Born in 1972, Sana is a member of China's Naxi minority, spending her formative years and much of her adult life living in and returning to her hometown of Lijiang, nestled beneath the snowcapped Jade Dragon Mountain in western Yunnan. Sana's paintings exhibit the Naxi twin spirits of freedom and fate, showing people and scenes from her life in Yunnan and travels throughout China's western plateau.
